Things in my life I am grateful for:

  • Emily, she loves and supports me unconditionally and I love her more than I can express in words. Because of her I have been able to become a better person and treat the people around me with love and respect.

  • My parents. I haven’t always had the best relationship with my mother and father but things have been repaired with them and they tell me they love me everyday now and it just makes me so happy.

  • My bunnies. Steve and Baby are my entire world and watching them eat treats and play and sleep makes my heart so full and I just love them. They are my children and I want them to have the best life ever.

  • Video games. I know it’s a weird thing to list, but I’ve been playing games every single day since I was a child and playing on my computer helps me when I have a Bipolar/BPD episode. The constant reassurance that it’s there and something positive helps me. Also that’s how Emily and I became friends, we started playing Destiny 2 online and she plays games with me everyday and it makes me so happy.

  • Movies. Especially terrible movies. We always end the night watching a film and I look forward to it all day. Watching horrible movies with Emily and being able to do a podcast about them makes me so happy. (We are watching the Twilight films now and boy oh boy are they awful)

  • Snoqualmie. I love living here. It’s beautiful and in the mountains and we live in a picture perfect neighborhood and I just wake up so grateful each day. I also love Seattle and Issaquah because we can go to see plays and shows downtown and Issaquah has Target so we go there a lot.

  • Music. McCafferty is my job and how I make a living, and it’s very stressful and I’m really hard on myself, but music will always be the love of my life. I need it, it’s not something I can go without. Writing and expressing myself is the single best feeling in the world, and I can’t believe how much my music has grown and impacted others. I’m looking forward to creating the new album in the Fall of 2028.

  • People who like McCafferty. The community is so kind to me and supports me so much and I just love them all so much and am so so grateful to them.
